I really like this coffee maker, however, there are ridges around the hole that tear the coffee filter when I pour water over the grounds. This has happened about every third time I make coffee. Twice the tear was so significant that all of the grounds went into the carafe. I have to refilter the coffee into another container and it loses some of the flavor and it’s inconvenient.

I love this pot! It is well-made, functional, and serves its purpose perfectly.
